Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1320 Rte 764, Duncansville, Pennsylvania 16635: The First of our Little Churches to be Established just outside the Duncansville, PA Town Line on Route 764.
Our Beginnings
After Worshipping and meeting for 4 years in a rental facility where we had use of the facility only from Saturday Evenings until Noon on Sunday we were able to purchase this first Building. The outside still has the look of Garage Warehouse but our members renovated the Interior into a lovely Church. This is where our first little congregation has met since 1995. We continue to hold an early 7:45 A.M. Worship Service here. In this photo two Pastors visiting from Andhra Pradesh, India are standing in from of the Cross on the Church.

Faith Evangelical Lutheran held its first Worship Service on January 5, 1992 at the Ramada Inn, Altoona.

Our Building was the location for the Constituting of the"Evangelical Lutheran Conference & Ministerium of North America, Inc." on September 19, 1999. and is the registered Corporate address for ELCM.

The Nave and Chancel
Inside our first Church Building (Faith Evangelical Lutheran, Duncansville) we have Moveable Pews and an area for the Altar and Chancel furnishings which is also in moveable units. The only item in the Chancel and Nave area not moveable is the Organ.
