Our 3rd Mission Congregation (the 2nd Faith Lutheran Congregation).
The 3rd congregation of our Parish began as the former first Unit from a WELS MIssion Congregation known as "Our Savior Lutheran". The remaining core of that congregation began attending the Duncansville Faith Lutheran Congregation. We had planned to expand the Duncansville facility but the cost of acquiring adjacent land needed was more costly than we could afford and so the former "Our Savior" members offered to sell us the 5 1/2 acres and first Unit building if we would pay the remaining mortgage on that property and launch a mission Congregation effort at that location. Thus we acquired a facility and land for a 3rd Mission Congregation effort. We picture here the first Unit where we held worship until acquiring an additional facility to add to the First Unit Building.

The First Unit of the Faith Ev. Lutheran Mission in Hollidaysburg featured a Fellowship Hall where we would set up a Worship arrangement with folding chairs. This was our arrangement as we celebrated the first Christmas Eve Services at our new 3rd Mission location.

The New addition and expansion to our Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church Facility at 1309 Frankstown Road, Hollidaysburg, PA.
It came to pass that the Frankstown Township wanted to construct a storm water run off Holding area. The place they chose was that owned by another Religious Group located across the highway from us. The Township purchased the property and advertised that any who wished to obtain the Facility that was on the property simply needed to move the building and that any willing to do that could have the building for free. We responded and had the building jacked up, mounted on airplane tires, moved to our property. We then dug a foundation and were able to move the building to a position where it joined our first Unit Building. We renovated the new building into a full Nave and Chancel area with allowed us then to use our fellowship Hall for Fellowship activities and events. Thus it has come to pass that our Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church of Frankstown Road, Hollidaysburg is the Church in our parish with a full facility for Worship, Offices, and Fellowship. We still have a large unfinished Basement but in time, Lord willing that too will become a very useable tool in our Ministry efforts.
